Who I Am

Finding the right writer for your project can feel overwhelming, let me help!

Hi, I’m Wren! As a writer I specialize in content writing, web copy, marketing materials, and communications. My background is in the creative arts and nonprofit sectors with additional experience in corporate communications and marketing.

I’ve worked in various contracts with companies large and small, doing everything from customer service and corporate communications, to retail and service work. What I’ve learned through these experiences is that effective communication can make or break a business – so when I made the decision to freelance, I decided that I’d put my focus in helping organizations tackle their biggest communication problems.

I’m passionate about introducing people to new topics and new ways of thinking, my most fulfilling projects have allowed me to learn just as much as my audience! I love using my skills to help individuals, not just businesses, communicate and understand more effectively.

In working with me, you’ll get a writer who can tackle nuanced and complicated subjects and make them accessible to a wide and diverse audience. Let’s connect and get your project finished!

What I Write

I have experience writing promotional content, web copy, blog posts, and articles. Below is a sample of work I’ve done for various theaters and non-profits in the Twin Cities, and I am now focusing my work in the areas of healthcare, education and culture.

If you like my style but don’t see any projects similar to what you need, contact me! I’m currently available to accept clients outside my usual niches.
